I'm not going to do a "Year in Review" post. You see, that would involve a significant amount of "looking back". And I don't particularly want to look back anymore. There's nothing there for me. Its past, its gone. What was, is no longer and I'm wasting no more time staring at it, wishing for different. It's time to turn around and see the opportunities in front of me.
I'm facing forwards and looking into 2012 with some excitement and enthusiasm about the amount of awesome I'm going to create.
- PB at Mooloolaba Trialthon
- Finish study
- Start NEW study
- Be present for my kids
- Find Balance
- Make a difference
- Find new love perhaps??
Whatever 2012 will bring, I can't wait.
Its time to return from my journey of change.
I don't know about drops of jupiter, but there's definitely a reasonable amount of sparkle. :)

Yes I do like that 'not looking back' thing. If I start to look back I can feel the tension mounting in my body. Looking FORWARD is getting pretty fucking excited, I can tell you!
ReplyDeleteMust blog also.
2012 has a much better ring to you, don't you think? :)
Yeah, its weird Frankie. I've spent so much time 'reflecting' over the past couple of years, that I've missed some opportunities. Reflection can be useful, but only if you use it to move forward. Reflecting forlornly and regretting just keeps you stuck. I just want to be able to smile when I think of the past, instead of going back and being stuck in it. Here's to 2012 ! xox
ReplyDeleteHave a very happy 2012 Nic!
ReplyDeleteSaw this today: "Don't look back, because you might fall over what's in front of you"
ReplyDeleteGood plan. All the best for 2012.
Thanks Liz. x
ReplyDeleteKek - That just about sums it up really !
Glad I'm not alone in wanting to leave 2011 where it belongs - in the past...All the best for 2012 Nicole!
ReplyDeleteYep, Sandra, it seems to be the general consensus. Bring on 2012 !
