Week One... Planned
Ok, so week one (technically) starts tomorrow with the first official day of training for January.
I haven't got my program as yet because I'm meeting with Coach Jason Crowther from Atlas Multisports Coaching on Wednesday to go over my goals for 2012.
Naturally, Mooloolaba Triathlon is at the top of the list for setting some specific goals, however I'm also going to be speaking to Jason about the fact that I can't run for shit and that I'd like to work on my running as a priority and perhaps choose a half (or full??) marathon this year.
So I can't give you a definite outline for planned training this week. But it should look something like this:
Tuesday AM : Swim Session
Tuesday PM : Run Session
Wednesday AM : Ride/Run Session
Wednesday AM : Yoga
Thursday PM : Track (run) Session
Friday AM : Ins and Outs Swim Session
Saturday AM : Ride/Run Session
Sunday : Rest
Monday PM : Windtrainer Session
Because the kids and I are still on holidays, I can take the kids with me to the track session on Thursday. I'm also hoping that Mum will let me drop the kids of Friday and Saturday mornings so I can make it to the Ins and Outs and Ride/Run session.
Nutrition is going to be one of the most significant factors.
I have 2 more days before the kids come home. And then back to work on Monday 9th. I'll be spending that time grocery shopping and cooking meals to put in the freezer. Being organised is going to be the key to being able to train, work and be a mum.
One day, one training session, one meal at a time......
